Dan Kennedy and Parthiv Shah write a regular column in Entrepreneur, and in March 2025 they used a 25-day Black Friday sprint of mine as the case study. Same campaign that later became Chapter 14 of their book on marketing automation and AI. Here's what actually happened, and why a 5-page magazine feature was willing to run every number.

The 25 Days

A former student of mine, Samuel Young, asked if I had Black Friday plans. I didn't. I was too deep in managing high-ticket consulting contracts generating over $300K a year to orchestrate a campaign myself. He pushed back: he had a plan to fully automate and optimize an entire Black Friday promo with AI. We started from scratch in early November.

No agency, no ad budget to speak of, no months of runway. Just AI tools doing the parts of a launch that normally eat the most calendar time: research, offer design, and production.

What We Actually Built

  • arrow_forwardLead magnet: "100 AI-Powered Marketing Prompts," drafted with Claude for ideation.
  • arrow_forwardResearch before the offer: surveyed 140+ prospects with AI-generated questions before pricing anything. The answer surprised us: people would pay $997+, not a discount.
  • arrow_forwardThe offer: a $997 core product, with $1,497 and $9,000 upsells, structured using ChatGPT trained on direct-response sales frameworks.
  • arrow_forwardProduction: a full 10-minute sales video built in Descript and Captions AI, with no traditional film shoot.
  • arrow_forwardThe result: 50+ customers and $70,000+ in revenue, in 25 days, starting from nothing.

Why This One Matters

A 5-page feature is rare real estate for any business magazine to hand a single story, and Entrepreneur gave it to a campaign anyone could go verify: named tools, named numbers, a named former student who pushed me into it. That's the difference between a framework claim and an audited case study, and it's the same rigor I teach inside the AI Persona Method and the AI Certified Consultant program.
